smoking his victory cigar

leaving that well of fear and trepidation
he found rest on his only armchair
no more dwelling in his winter of discontent
and his mud of frustrating tears
leaving that sea of circumstances
that ebbs out impossible tasks to undertake
no more trembling in swells
and his creased face of dust
he found rest on his only armchair
smoking his victory cigar
